Clear answers about booking, payments, delivery and drone filming.
For weddings, I recommend booking as early as possible once your date and venue are confirmed, especially for peak dates between May and October. For birthdays, family celebrations and corporate events, please enquire as soon as you know the date so I can check availability.
A 30% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the event. Monthly instalments, payment plans and net 30 terms are not offered.
Wedding films are usually delivered within 6-12 weeks. Celebration films are usually delivered within 3-6 weeks, corporate event films within 2-4 weeks, and drone-only edits within 1-3 weeks depending on the project.
Booking is easy! You can start by sending an enquiry through the consultation form. I will confirm availability, discuss your event, answer any questions, and help you choose the most suitable package.
Your date is not secured until the booking fee has been received and the booking has been confirmed in writing.
The 30% booking fee is non-refundable because it secures your date and prevents me from accepting another booking for that time.
Please refer to the Terms & Conditions page for the full policy.
Yes. I am based in South Yorkshire and can travel for weddings, celebrations and corporate events across Yorkshire, the UK and selected destination bookings by agreement.
Travel policy:
Travel details will be discussed and confirmed in writing before booking.
Locations requiring overnight accommodation may incur additional costs, which will be discussed and agreed in advance.
Pricing depends on the service, coverage time and deliverables selected:
All prices are quoted in GBP/British Pounds. Any applicable UK tax position will be shown clearly before booking and on the invoice.
No. I do not offer monthly instalments, payment plans or net 30 payment terms.
This keeps the booking process clear and consistent with the Terms & Conditions.
I believe in transparent pricing. Any additional fees are discussed before booking or agreed in writing if something changes after booking. They may include:
I do not add hidden fees. Anything outside the selected package will be discussed and confirmed in writing.
Before the event, I will ask for the details needed to plan the filming properly. This may include:
The more accurate the schedule is, the easier it is to plan coverage around the important moments.
Coverage time depends on the package selected and the type of event:
Exact coverage time is confirmed in your selected package or written booking confirmation.
For weddings and live events, my approach is mostly natural and unobtrusive. I focus on capturing real moments as they happen rather than turning the day into a staged production.
If a short couple moment, family moment, engagement-style clip or planned shot is requested, I can offer simple guidance so it looks natural on camera. Otherwise, guests should simply enjoy the event.
Typical delivery times are:
Delivery times can vary depending on the season, complexity of the edit and workload at the time of booking.
Rush editing may be available by prior agreement and may incur an additional fee. Final films are delivered through an online download link unless another delivery method is agreed.
Final edited films are usually delivered digitally through a secure online download link. Depending on the package selected, you may also receive shorter social media versions or additional edits listed in your package.
You are responsible for downloading and backing up your films once delivered.
Copyright of all filmed material remains with Silver Birch Videos. Clients receive a personal licence to watch, download and share the final edited films for personal use and social media.
Yes. Drone work is carried out by me, Florin, as the drone operator. I operate in line with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements and only fly where it is safe, legal and permitted.
Drone footage is never guaranteed because it depends on weather, safety, venue permission and legal restrictions.
Drone flights are weather dependent and safety always comes first. Drone filming may not be possible in:
Drone footage is subject to weather conditions, venue restrictions and applicable CAA regulations. If conditions are unsuitable, drone footage may not be possible and no refund will be provided for the drone portion of the service.
Drone filming may be possible, but it is not guaranteed. The client is responsible for obtaining any venue permissions required for drone operations.
I will always make the final safety decision on the day. If it is not safe or appropriate to fly, the drone will stay on the ground.
